St. Patrick’s recognises that emotional wellbeing is critical if students are to achieve their potential and this is promoted by the school’s policies and practices. Our students enjoy positive relationships with staff and in the event of a student requiring professional counselling support, two counsellors, provided by the Independent Counselling Service for Schools, visit St. Patrick’s each week. Students may self-refer to the service or be referred by a parent or teacher. When necessary the school will invoke the support of other specialist outside agencies to assist students.
